The sun gleamed off the pure white snow. The mountains stillness periodically broken by the sound of machines. The mountain air filled our lungs as the sun beat down on us. We stood at nearly 9,000 feet feeling like we are on top of the world. We were at our very first snowmobile hill climbs. We were there to cheer on our nephew. We wait at the bottom of the ramp in anticipation for him to fly over it. Any moment now he will appear. The mountain is still. We hear the machine. Six seconds later he appears as he jumps the ramp. It is that fast. Don’t blink or you will miss it.
Mason, thank you so much for including your aunt and uncle in your day as you climb the hill to the top. We are so proud of you! What a sport. What a thrill. What a rush of adrenaline as you charge the hill racing for the fastest time. Thank you for introducing us to your world of BRRRP!
