A morning in the secret garden

It was a cool, spring morning in Houston, Texas. The temperature was 64 degrees and cloudy with rain in the forecast. As we embark on our journey under the magical oak trees lining the Marilyn Taylor Exercise Trail. We got started showcasing this beautiful young lady’s modeling talents warming up for the main event; the Secret Garden.

Secret garden? You read that right. A really special piece of heaven located in the heart of Houston. We found this piece of paradise in Hermann Park for a very special young lady, Laura. When I asked what kind of backdrop she wanted for her photos, she answered with “anything with flowers”. Well Laura, I think we have found the flowers you wanted on this beautiful spring day in Texas. McGovern Centennial Gardens, located inside Hermann Park, is AMAZING! It offers all sorts of hidden gems which equals a photographers dream. Add that to a client who is photogenic, it equals a memorable photoshoot.

Laura is currently in her freshmen year of college in the EMT to Paramedic program. When you meet this beautiful young lady you can understand why she is in a field that requires so much compassion. She is such a giving person! She has a passion to serve those who are in their most vulnerable time and are in need of help.

Laura, thank you for including us in your journey. You are such a beautiful human being, inside and out. It brought me so much joy to take your photos professionally for the very first time. However, you are no amateur and if your career in the medical field does not keep you on your toes enough, you could always add being a model to your busy schedule!
