An Evening In Boulder

It was a beautiful Friday evening in early September. The weather was warm. You know what that means – the weather is perfect for a photoshoot. Add in our gorgeous high school senior Ellie to the excitement. You may ask yourself, what can make this photoshoot even more perfect? It is simple really, two dream locations in Boulder, Colorado. 

The first location up is the sought after Chautauqua Park. One word describes this location best, and that word is BEAUTIFUL. With the Flatirons as the backdrop. Tall grass and flowers make this location dreamy. It is a perfect compliment to our gorgeous senior. 

Once we captured all that could be with this location we drove the five minutes away to a hidden gem called Viele Lake. One word to describe this location best, it is MAGICAL. This location provided us with the Flatirons still as the backdrop, but we added a perfect lake with cattails and a bridge to boot. Mix in Geese and it makes for a fun ending to a perfect night. 

Ellie is such a sweet young lady who is bright and enthusiastic. She was up to try any idea to make this shoot one to remember. She did it with a smile on her face despite the onlookers.

She is not only gorgeous but she was up for a giggle and always smiling to showcase her beautiful dimples. 

I absolutely find it exciting to meet such a fun young lady who knows how to have fun and smile with the simple things in life. Like asking a stranger to borrow his fishing pole so we could capture the beauty of the lake or play in the cattails for a new texture. She even posed with the geese who were out for their evening walk.

Ellie, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your senior year. I wish you all the best! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you! Good luck next year as you are studying at college and working toward your goal as an Ultrasound Technician!
